Openning of the Academic Year at the Romanian-American University (RAU), School of Management-Marketing. Creative RAU student teams ready for Henkel Innovation Challenge
On the occasion of the Openning of the Academic Year at the Romanian-American University (RAU), School of Management-Marketing, held in the Aula Magna, in the presence of students, graduate students, teachers and numerous guests, Rector of the RAU Ovidiu Folcut and Dean Alexandru Ionescu have confirmed that as to teach is to learn, at Rau it is learning that education, as the soul of a society, involves action to be achieved, being life itself which opens the way of transmitting continuous knowledge. And, at RAU, knowledge is managed towards wisdom, competing on learning how to build trust and accountability by promoting a better relationship between education and practice, fostering innovation as a multi-dimensional challenge.
The presence at the open ceremony of Mrs. Adriana Radu, HR Manager at Henkel Romania, who was speaking about „Student Vision 2050: Henkel Innovation Challenge” appeared as a logical consequence of this vision and strategical implementation. As it is known, Henkel is organizing a new round in its successful student competition, within this context creative student teams of two or three students are invited to compete in developing a concept for a product under a Henkel brand which will meet the needs of people in the year 2050. Henkel is placing particular importance on ensuring that the student teams are personally supported by mentors during the competition, the participants having throughou this journey an excellent opportunity to establish valuable contacts and to discuss their own career prospects. The answer of the students of School of Management-Marketing, Romanian-American University was clearly affirmative.
