Celebrating the 90th Birthday of the inspiring Professor Ion Bulborea
Today marks the 90th birthday of the reputed Professor Ion Bulborea, who always has been a source of inspiration and guidance. Romanian-American University (RAU) and the Romanian-American Foundation for Promoting Education and Culture (FRAPEC) organized a great event to honor Professor Ion Bulborea for his many contributions to the economic higher education in Romania, for his assumed responsibility and determination in addressing the quality and consistency of the values and expectations.
RAU Rector Ovidiu Folcuţ (Honorary Member of the Romanian Distribution Committee), President of FRAPEC Professor Dumitru Miron (Honorary Member of the Romanian Distribution Committee) and President of RAU Senate Professor Ana-Maria Preda (a distinguished Member of the Romanian Distribution Committee) spoke warmly of Professor’s Bulborea life and work, his dedicated soul in valuing knowledge and understanding, expanding this knowledge in order to advance the human capital. Distinguished invitees, such as the Vice-Rector of the University of Bucharest Professor Magdalena Platiş and Professor Paul Marinescu, University of Bucharest, also shared their thoughts and ideas within this valuable framework.
On this special occasion, the Romanian Distribution Committee awarded the Diploma of Honorary Member to the reputed Professor Ion Bulborea, virtuous scientist through action and exercise, as a prestigious recognition for his endeavor and achievement, always confirming the harmony between individual and social virtues.
